The East by West Institute 4 Global Change is a value and idea driven education, think tank and summit oriented non-profit entity.  Our mission is to inspire conscious leadership and innovative thinking to conquer a plethora of global problems and to be a catalyst for a shift from a contractive and unconscious planet to a more expansive  & conscious planet.

There is a battle going on in the world. On one side of the pendulum people and cultures have evolved to live a life that is more conscious, powerful, balanced and successful where the focus in on win-win outcomes which is driven by an abundance mentality. Simultaneously, on the other side of the pendulum, there is more unconscious, power driven behavior that is driven by ego and greed where the focus is on a zero sum game win-lose attitude which is driven by a scarcity mentality; and which has caused a denial of a plethora of global social problems. As we see it, who wins this battle between a conscious and unconscious approach to the world will ultimately determine the outcome for our entire planet.

In essence, we all have a choice to make which is to live a life in fear and unconsciousness and be contractive or we can ride on the waves of change and be more courageous, conscious and expansive. Our philosophy at the East by West Institute is to empower people on a personal level to be more conscious, expansive and successful, to lead the way by developing conscious leaders who create a shift in corporate cultures that are more conscious, ethical, expansive and successful via our workshops and to create a new way on a macro level to create a global change from a contractive and unconscious planet to a more expansive and conscious planet through our think tanks and summits.

The East by West Institute feels that Global Change for the better will accelerate when enough people make the shift from unconscious to conscious behavior as this will cause a tipping point. For that reason, we embrace micro change as seen herein:

The East by West Institute believes that we can change the world for the better bottom up by first facilitating a Paradigm Shift in humans on a one to one personal level via the process of practicing the art of mindfulness which shifts us from being unconscious to being conscious to cause the critical mass needed to make a huge difference for the planet.

The East by West Institute also feels that Global Change will accelerate when corporate executives and  entrepreneur leaders make a shift from unconscious zero sum game ways to a more conscious win-win game whereas this shift in business practice will cause a top down snowball effect to others and for the better.  For that reason, the East by West Institute features the following programs:

The East by West Institute 4 Global Change plans to host major summits in the future to search for common ground for the purpose of finding ways to move the world forward without stress and to create macro change for the planet.

The purpose of this Think Tank Summit is to investigate creative solutions to transform war to global peace. We The People Summit: Together We Stand, Divided We Fall

One of the greatest challenges we face today is that The United States is in the midst of a major battle divided by those who are conscious & compassionate and who seek win-win outcomes for the good of all, those who feel forgotten and who are coming from a scarcity mentality and those leaders who appear to be unconscious driven by ego and greed and who practice win-lose zero sum games. The battle has become tribal based on being a Republican or Democrat and the question we wish to address in this Summit is how to pull the USA back together to be The Global Leader knowing that “Together We Stand and Divided We Fall”.

This Think Tank Summit will investigate create solutions for transforming an ego, greed & scarcity driven mentality to a prosperity culture and world through innovative thinking. The focus here will be on creating collaborative relationships between Eastern and Western countries for win-win outcomes.

This Think Tank explores creative solutions for empowering the transformation from world hunger, global warming & energy dependence to a sustainable food source, environmental sustainability & energy independence.

Our intention is to also create a strategic alliance to serve as a venue for other Summits such as The World Affairs Conference held annually at The University of Colorado, The Boulder Film Festival and possibly The Aspen Institute.

Once solutions immerge at The Summits participants will develop an agreed upon action plan to transform said ideas and and solutions into global change.
